Katja is an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for climbing, trail running, and hiking, as well as a voracious reader interested in everything from sci-fi and adventure to wildlife biology and scientific exploration. Having lived abroad several times, Katja is multilingual and brings a global perspective to Katja's work as a neurodiverse clinician. With a background as a firefighter and Advanced-EMT, Katja earned a master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montana State University in 2024. Katja takes a celebratory and practical approach to neurodiversity, fostering healing through self-understanding, and integration of self and surrounding systems. Katja views the counseling relationship as a collaborative effort, wherein the clinician provides knowledge and skills and the client offers their unique experiences, so that together they can work together to find effective, individualized solutions.
