Jay is a neurodivergent clinician with over ten years of experience working with diverse populations.
Prior to his career as a mental health provider, Jay taught special education in Salt Lake City, Utah and Chinook, Montana. During his time as a teacher, he taught in a self-contained autism spectrum classroom, mild to moderate resource classroom, and at a Hutterite colony.
Jay is also very passionate about clinical research. He is dedicated to understanding neurodiversity at a very deep level and is constantly studying peer-reviewed literature to identify current best practices to support his patients. He specializes in diagnosing complex patients and neurodivergent populations.
He is an adjunct faculty Montana State University's Counselor Education Program. Jay is currently teaching courses on appraisal/assessment, research methods, psychopharmacology, and mental health methods/systems to aspiring mental health counselors
